"To Be Or Not To Be...Local Business Friendly": The Elk Grove City Council is at a decision point over the controversy with Downtown Ford. State of the City: Jim Cooper, the last of our appointed Mayors, painted a rosy picture of our city's progress over the last 12 years. But despite the upbeat tone, this “good news” report seemed to have something missing...a very vital something.

"State of the City" and the Candidates' Response

Gary Davis

     Gary Davis is a former Elk Grove Mayor under the appointment system, and current city council member.  We spoke to Mr. Davis directly after Mayor Cooper's address, March 30th, 2012.
